2011 BMW 6-series coupe and cabrio - Preview

BMW's next generation 6-series coupe and cabrio won't be available until late 2010, however we can get a pretty accurate look at how it will look thanks to these renderings. The new design is expected to grow in size and feature a sportier design and also sit lower than the current out going model.

The engine is unfortunately supposed to carry over untouched, but the new M6 will get a twin turbo V-10 and dual clutch transmission.

Beijing Auto Show 2008: Geely CE concept makes its debut

Ok, the Geely car parade at Beijing is officially in full swing. One of the good-looking renderings we posted during the runup to the show was of the CE concept, a small hatchback that looked like it could just as easily be an Acura that's slumming in the entry-level class. In the metal, it looks pretty much exactly like the rendering -- a well-styled little Acura 5-door hatch. Only that's the Geely badge on that shield-shaped grille. It It is better-looking than any of Geely's current market offerings, and that's about all there is to say, because we have neither interior shots nor technical details to flesh things out any further. As such, we'll treat it as a styling exercise that's likely got Honda/Acura designers grumbling under their breath, and Chinese showgoers and (potential car-buyers) nodding approvingly.

2008 Audi TT 0-60 in 3.5 - HPA’s 565 horsepower

The car started its journey in Germany to be painted in custom Lamborghini Gallardo orange. Later the car was shipped to HPA Motosports who built the TT from the ground up. A stock 2008 Audi TT 3.2L V6 produces a total of 250-hp.

The result? 0-60mph comes in at 3.5 seconds while the 0-100mph takes just 8.4 seconds.

Transferring the power to the wheels via the S-tronic transmission required some work as well. HPA threw in performance clutch packs and a reprogrammed mechatronic which increased launch control revs from 3000rpm to 5000.

All this will cost you about $60,000 in upgrades. However you can now take on that Nissan GT-R without any hesitation.
