Edo Competition raises the bar with the Murcielago LP710/2

German tuner edo competition is determined to leave no supercar untouched, and the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 is the latest to undergo the conversion. Starting with the 6.5L V12, edo adds high performance camshafts, upgraded cylinder heads, and new high flow air filters. The exhaust system is also reworked, including new headers, high-flow cats, and new mufflers. The result is 710 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, good for a 0-60 mph sprint in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 224 mph. Additional modifications include a conversion to RWD, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a new aerodynamically efficient adjustable rear wing. The already extremely capable monster has been turned into the world's fastest and most powerful Lamborghini by edo competition: the edo LP710 /2.

The increase in power was achieved through the use of new exhaust headers, new high flow catalytic converters,
new mufflers, a new exhaust tip, new performance camshafts, modified cylinder heads and new high flow air
filters. The engine controls are reprogrammed to make ideal use of the individual modifications. This powerful package is brought to perfection with optimized aerodynamics which enhances the stability of the mighty bull and bestows the car with an even more dynamic elegance. A newly developed and beautifully shaped rear wing with an adjustable lip completes the aerodynamics package. A high-speed wheel and tire combination: 19 inch light alloy wheel set with special Continental high-speed tires: 225/35 ZR 19 Continental V-max in the front and 325/30 ZR 19 Continental V-max in the rear.

High performance exhaust system
A marvelous sound emanates from the edo competition stainless steel high performance exhaust system which includes a new exhaust tip. A new butterfly-valve control system – remote-controlled on request – is available, too. The more aggressive rear view is a great side-effect.

Drivetrain / clutch
edo competition has developed a new single disc clutch. Additionally the 4-wheel drive arrangement is turned into a 2-wheel drive setup. The LP 710 /2 is delivered with rear wheel drive. Weight savings of 40 kg (88 lb) and more agile handling are the result of this conversion. All modifications are carried out exclusively at edo competition Motorsport GmbH in Ahlen.

On Saturday July 12th, 2008, American Muscle held its annual company picnic and charity fund raiser. Once again, this year's charity
foundation was Homes For Our Troops which is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping those with
serious disabilities and injuries.

This organization is committed to assisting those who have returned from their service to our country severely injured, and their immediate families, by raising donations of money, building materials, and
professional labor to build a new home or adapt an existing home for handicapped accessibility.

The Breakdown:

• Mustang Parts Sales Donation (5% Sales Durring The Event) - $3615.36
  
• Additional Company Donation - $500.00


• Phone Donations - $ 115.00


• Grand Total - $ 4230.36

In addition to our annual charity fundraiser, this event was also our annual company picnic! A variety of fun activities, massive food consumption of previously unthinkable proportions, and shenanigans
pursued including "American Gladiator" style jousting, expert mechanical bull riding, dunk tank dunking of boss, horseshoeing, a limbo contest 'How low can you go?', and of course the creme de la creme of
picnic activities... the office employee versus the warehouse employee TUG OF WAR!

First ever special edition for Hyundai i30 range

A new special edition for the i30 range promises to bring a little colour to British roads this autumn. The new version of the acclaimed hatchback is based on the popular 1.4 Comfort model, but adds extra equipment and colours which have not previously been available on any i30 hatch.

Inside Line does its thing on the $160k Acura NSX

The new Acura/Honda NSX may still be a couple of years away, but when talking about the sequel to such a dynamically legendary supercar, time won't stop speculation from ramping up and details from leaking. True to its name, Inside Line has put together what it believes is an accurate depiction – both visually and technically – of the newest challenger for Japanese supercar domination.

The first thing to know about the new NSX is that its emphasis will be on aerodynamics. Honda's F1 team may have yet to reach the pinnacle of success on the circuit, but that doesn't mean the company hasn't learned a few tricks in the process. For starters, the entire rear end of the car is tipped to act as a giant wing, generating prodigious amounts of downforce where soon-to-be archrivals Lexus LF-A and Nissan GT-R use heavy rear transaxles to keep the tail planted and the weight balanced. At an estimated 3256 lbs (you know, give or take), the NSX is also expected to come in a good 550 lbs lighter than Nissan's beast. Based on sources within Honda, Inside Line has come up with what they feel is an close prediction of how the NSX will look, and then proceed to call it boring. What lies underneath, however, is tipped to be a 5.5-liter V10 pumping more than 600 hp and 433 lb-ft of torque through a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox and the company's Super Handling AWD system.

With an anticipated $160,000 price tag, the new Honda supercar will have some dangerous competition. However developmental test mules of the NSX have already reportedly managed to lap the vaunted Nurburgring Nordschleiffe in a blitzschnell 7:37 on their first attempt. Once everything's tweaked to perfection, though, the NSX is easily expected to drop below 7:30. How far below will remain to be seen. With Japan, America and Europe's best vying for the top slot, the heat is on.
